The Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA Ethiopia) is one of the 125 YMCAs around the world which was first established in 1951. It’s a non-patrician, non -religious youth focused movement strives for empowering young people for the renaissance of Africa.
YMCA Ethiopia currently operates in Addis Ababa, Tigraye, Oromyia, Amhara, Sidama, and Southern Nation and Nationalities (SNNPR). It has nearly 3000 young champions over 25,000 registered members and over 50,000 direct and indirect beneficiaries.
YMCA is all about Space, Skills, and Opportunities that are designed based on the timely-honored YMCA’s philosophy of holistic approach to body, mind and sprits.
